The Files tab is where the source files are specified. The search and replace operation is performed on these files.
The Strings tab is where the search and replace strings are specified. The first screenshot shows how to specify multiple search and replace strings. The second screenshot shows how to specify a single, multiline search and replace string.
The Options tab contains miscellaneous settings that affect the operation.
The Exclusions tab is used to exclude certain files from the operation.
The Logging tab determines if and how the operation is logged.
The Batch tab is used to specify a batch of MSDOS commands that runs before or after the operation.
The optional "Prompt On Replace" mode allows you to confirm each change.
The "Normalize Text Files" tool is useful for cleaning up the contents of a set of text files.
The "Convert Filenames Case" tool is useful for normalizing the upper/lower case of the filenames and extensions of a set of files.
